Hand-Prod was founded in 1986 - as one of the first private medical companies in the country. It began operation on the distribution of diagnostic equipment and scientific equipment for medical facilities and healthcare scientific centers.
1989 - Hand-Prod enhances its offer by specialist surgical equipment and products in this area. The company signs cooperation agreement with a surgical sutures manufacturer - Davis & Geck.
1992 - The company enters drug market, mainly in medicines used in dialysis, transplantation and oncology. It also becomes the exclusive representative and distributor of the products of Boehringer Mannheim GmbH - one of the world's biggest manufacturers for drugs, diagnostic reagents used in scientific study, medical equipment and diagnostic products for diabetics. In 1998, Boehringer Mannheim has been taken over by Roche, with which Hand-Prod works to this day. Hence, the company becomes the biggest glucometers and strip tests supplier in the country.
1998 - The company becomes the exclusive distributor of AB Biodisk microbiological tests and the only sales representative of RANDOX, which offers high-quality diagnostic reagents. In the same year, close cooperation is established with manufacturers of equipment for water treatment - e.g. ELGA.
1999-2000 - Hand-Prod initiates a nationwide education and preventive action "Let's stop diabetes" within which about 70 thousand people were examined free of charge. In 1999, an agreement was signed with BYK-ROLAND for exclusive sale of shading agents for radiological examinations and with BOSCH &SOHN GmbH for exclusive sale of BOSO pressure gauges. At the same time, Hand-Prod with other partners established BLAU FARMA, which produces specialist cosmetics and buys shares in Dia-Pol, publisher of the magazine Diabetic. Hand-Prod also opens one of the first self-service pharmacies in Poland.
2001 - The company starts cooperation with SAMO in the scope of hip endoprostheses and becomes a distributor of Becton-Dickinson microbiological products.
2002 - Han-Prod buys Homeofarm, which manufactures medicinal products, mainly dermatological ointments, which develops rapidly due to the new owner within a couple of years. Hand-Prod is certified with ISO 9001, granted by SGS-ICS Switzerland JSC.
2006 - the company starts opening a network of modern dialysis stations.
2007 - the company is certified with ISO 14001 by Germanisher Lloyd Industrial Services Poland Ltd. The event completes the audit process conducted since 2003.
2008 - Hand-Prod enhances its strength by merging with an international holding company, OneMed - leading supplier of medical products on the Northern Europe markets. At the end of the third quarter 2008, the offer is enhanced with Ansell products. In 2008, Hand-Prod sells Homeofarm to the Lithuanian group Sanitas.
2009 - Hand-Prod opens a modern logistics centre in Ołtarzewo, with more than 2500m2. Hand-Prod sells its shares in BLAU-FARMA.
2010 - The company enhances its offer by disinfecting agents for disinfecting equipment and surfaces and by hygiene and cleaning agents for hospitals, dentists and labs. At the same time, realizing the strategy of OneMed Group, it resigns from service activity and sells its network of dialysis stations.
