OneMed, the leading medical supplies wholesaler in Northern Europe, acquired by 3i
OneMed Group, the leading medical supplies wholesaler in Northern Europe, has been acquired by 3i, an
international investor in private equity, infrastructure and debt management, and funds managed by 3i. OneMed
serves public and private customers mainly in the healthcare sector with medical supplies, other supplies and related
products as well as medical equipment. The seller is the Nordic private equity firm CapMan.

OneMed Group was formed during 2006-2009 by combining six companies, operating in the medical supplies market
around the Baltic Sea region, and by divesting selected non-core assets. As a result of these transactions, OneMed
today is the leading medical supplies wholesaler in Northern Europe with strong presence in Sweden, Poland,
Finland, Denmark, Norway and the Baltic countries. During the last few years, an intensive internal integration and
consolidation process has been completed in order to create an integrated medical supplies wholesale company with
a clear strategic direction and operational platform for profitable growth. During CapMan’s ownership OneMed’s
turnover has grown from EUR 148 million in 2006 to an expected turnover of close to EUR 400 million in 2010.
OneMed is now ready to further accelerate growth both through driving industry consolidation as well as organically
growing the business. With 3i, OneMed will get a new owner that will support the Company in its next significant
phase of organic and acquisition led development.
