On 10-11 June, in the Conference Centre of the Polish Army in Warsaw, the XI National Symposium "Operational Block - Organization and Functioning" was held. The issue of work of operating rooms and blocks always aroused great interest in medical circles. These units are the basic and highly specialized part of the hospital. Their task is to enable to perform a large number of operating procedures, as safely as possible for the patient and the staff.
The agenda has been prepared under the direction of Professor Krzysztof Bielecki and Professor Tadeusz Szreter. This year's proceedings touched upon issues of e.g. prevention of infections in the operating theatre and organization of work and occupational safety in the operating theatre.
As in the previous year, Hand-Prod took part in the conference - however, for the first time the company was represented by such a strong appearance on the stand. Disinfection group joined OneMed Group with disposable products and Surgery, due to which we had the opportunity to present our complex product offer as a part of our Medical Supplies project. The stand attracted a lot of interest, dozens of people took part in the quiz we organized and much attention was drawn to automatic, non-contact soap dispensers - new in the Hand-Prod offer.

In February 2010 a new disinfection products department was established at Hand-Prod. Presently, the group has disinfectants in its port folio, for disinfection and cleaning of surfaces and equipment as well as medical tools - agents available both in the form of concentrates and of ready-to-use solutions. Additionally, accessories are sold within this group - automatic, non-contact dispensers with a photocell, for liquid soap. The offer has also been enhanced by liquid soaps with enriched formula, providing the proper skin hydration, which supports epidermis regeneration and soothing irritation.
The group's offer still expands with new products ensuring working comfort as well as safety to medical staff and to the patient.
